Expert Advice:
In this project a cherry wood corbels were chosen to work with the existing cherry
wood paneled cabinets. When possible it is always best to match the wood type of the corbels to the wood type of the
kitchen cabinets. This will insure the closest possible match
for the finish on all elements of the kitchen design.
When you cannot match the wood type we recommend us of maple corbels because, maple wood is light in color and stains
well either light or dark.
Hi, I purchased the corbels in the enclosed picture from you last January. The corbels look very nice and add elegance to the
cherry woodwork I built on the face of the bar. It was a big project and I wanted corbels that were as ornate as the inlaid panels
I constructed. I used 3" wood screw and a long level to ensure the support brackets were true.
This step is especially important
for an 11'6" raised granite bar top that is 21" deep. I recommend "measure three times and screw in once". The granite installer
had never seen these corbels and thought they offered very good support for the countertop. Everyone is always impressed with
the bar and complement the corbels. Thanks for the good product and great customer service.
