Updating Kitchen Cabinets with New Hardware
If your kitchen cabinets are lack luster and dull, but the doors overall are in good shape, a simple change in kitchen hardware can make an enormous difference. There are a lot of different decorative hardware for any kitchen style available on today’s market.
Try to use quality hardware for this kind of job. The knobs and pulls should reflect the quality of your cabinets. After you remove the old knobs, there will be scratches and little holes left from removing them, so the new hardware should be able to cover those scratches.
Solid brass, plated brass, chrome knobs, and baked enamel knobs will cost anywhere from $2 to $64 each. You can go to any home supply store to look at their selection or go a step further by opting for a more special looking knob or handle.
You may find porcelain knobs as an attractive feature in your kitchen. They are usually seen as something that is part of a country style kitchen or cottage kitchen, but they can be used in a traditional kitchen.

I absolutely love decorative knobs and other hardware. They are like cute accessories for the home. When I first moved into my home, it did not come together until i finally got together the right hardware styles. that’s when i saw that the whole place got tied together and took on my personal touch.

One thing that I absolutely love doing for accessories for the home is using hardware that is mismatched, but is still complementary. I actually put in the effort to thrift a whole bunch of hardware and repolishing them to make them look like new. I wish i would have found this site when i was decorating because it would have made my life a lot easier than trying to run all around the tristate area to find the perfect matches!

I never thought that I would ever invest as much money as I did into hardware. It does make a huuuuuuge difference. Even the quality of the hardware matters. It is so much more than the function. Thank you so much for your help, especially with picking out certain patterns that overall ended up matching through out my whole house!

My wife was recently on a business trip overseas and I decided to surprise her with new kitchen hardware. She was so pleased when she came home. They add a lot to the kitchen. The knobs and drawer pulls look right at home in our kitchen.

I have never found such beautiful knobs and pulls as I have on InvitingHome.com. I truly like all of the options made available to consumers. I sometimes see the knobs and try to think of a piece of furniture that I may have in my collection to add them to, and if I don’t have something that may or may not match, I try looking for something that will. These decorative hardware pieces are truly charming.

I totally agree! I’ve always hated the generic knobs and pulls at the local hardware stores in my area. I’m so glad i’ve found InvitingHome.com. I’ve been looking for fancy knobs and pulls just like on your website for some time now. I LOVE the Fleur-de-lis knobs and pulls so much! It’s so cool that you have so many different options for every type of person; Beach Houses, camps, cottages, contemporary. Love it!

I like this post. I’ve been wanting to do something with my kitchen for a while now, but I haven’t wanted to spend a fortune while doing it. I think it’s a great idea to update kitchens with new knobs and pulls. Thank you for the suggestion!

Haha. Kevin, you’re lucky you picked out the right hardware. I think my wife would castrate me if I did something like that!
