This four-panel oriental screen is hand-painted with a Chinoserie scenes. Each screen panel has three original
compositions painted in a realistic manner inside elegant lines of
scrolled vignettes. Chinoserie scenes painted on the top portion of the
screens panels feature four different compositions with female figure
and a child. Center part of the folding screen presenting four
planters with beautiful flowers. And on the lower portion of the screen
four picturesque landscapes are masterfully painted by the artist. Vignettes
with Chinoserie scenes are painted on an antiqued crackled black
background and have an ornamental border composed from stylized scrolled
leafs. The back of this oriental folding screen is hand finished in
