Gold-leafing Process
Experienced artisans who created this magnificent sconces are deeply knowledgeable in gold-leafing process. During this process real gold is pounded to create
wafer thin sheets of gold. This sheets are than applied with the utmost care and special glue to the carved wood sconces. Because sheets are so
thin, they must be carefully handled or they will disintegrate when touched. This is a very skillful and time consuming process
