Davie wood wall niche is hand-crafted in the USA and is available in premium selected alder, cherry, and red oak hardwoods. All of the wooden niches come unfinished; however, custom finishes are available upon request.
This wood wall niche is a perfect architectural piece for entryways, foyers or stairways and is also the perfect spot to display an important item.
The recessed wall niche incorporates the symmetry and beauty of sea shells created by nature. This niche features individually milled ribs with deep grooves creating a scalloped shell hardwood dome. Match Making: perfect wall for the perfect niche
If you think of your wall niche as art then you have to match it to the right wall space to showcase it.
If you have a bigger space, then you will obviously need to have a bigger wall niche to make sure that it does not disappear in the intensity of the large space or just simply look strange. The big exception for it is any places in the room that the eye is naturally drawn to.
Another great tip is to not have the wall niche be on a wall that is busy with other art because then its purpose of being a focal point among all the business is lost.
