We ship most in-stock items within 3 to 5 business days. On
occasions when we can't, we'll let you know. Orders shipped
via Standard Shipping are delivered within 5 -7 business
days from the order's ship date.
In general, hand crafted items are made to order and are not
always inventoried. Please allow 4 – 8 weeks for shipping
for special orders. InvitingHome.com will confirm the
scheduled ship date. A 2 to 3 day allowable variance should
be considered.
Please note: orders are shipped and delivered on business
days (Monday through Friday, except major holidays).
At this time, InvitingHome.com only ships to addresses in
the Unites States, For Hawaii and Alaska some restrictions
and surcharges may apply.
PLEASE INSPECT THE SHIPMENT IMMEDIATELY
InvitingHome.com and all of our suppliers try to ensure that
your shipment has been made to the highest standards of
quality. In the event that an error or damage occurs, the
following procedure must be followed:
Damage/Loss
Any damage or loss incurred in transit is the responsibility
of the carrier.
For UPS and FedEx Shipments (and all other small package
deliveries)
1. Notify the carrier immediately of any apparent damage on
the shipping packaging or products themselves.
2. Retain the merchandise AND packing material for
inspection by the carrier.
3. Notify InvitingHome.com Customer Service Dept. @

within 1 business days of receipt.
For Common Carrier (truck) shipments
1. For common carrier claims, the carrier requires the
recipient of the merchandise to file claims and receive
reimbursement.
2. Retain the merchandise AND packing material for
inspection by the carrier.
3. Notify InvitingHome.com Customer Service Department @
781-249-0957 or by email customerservice@InvitingHome.com
within 1 business days of receipt.
InvitingHome.com cannot file the claim and therefore cannot
issue credit to your account. Call and file a claim with the
carrier in order to receive reimbursement.
Note: Failure to follow these procedures may result in
forfeiture of monies due to you.
